Upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP files and click pixels to sample colors with a magnifier overlay. Dominant palette swatches are extracted automatically and can be copied as HEX, RGB, or HSL.

How to use the color picker

1. Drop one or more images into the upload pane.
2. Select a thumbnail to make it active.
3. Click the preview canvas to sample a pixel color.
4. Open the fullscreen picker for precise selection on large images.
5. Click any palette or sampled swatch to copy the formatted value.

FAQ

Does this tool upload my images?

No. Images are decoded locally in your browser. Color sampling and palette extraction never leave your device.

Why does clicking a transparent pixel do nothing?

Pixels with alpha below 10 are ignored so accidental transparent-area clicks do not overwrite your sampled color.

Can I copy colors in RGB or HSL?

Yes. Choose HEX, RGB, or HSL in the properties panel. Click any swatch or sampled color to copy the formatted value.
